To Diet or Not to Diet. Is That the Question?

It seems that I have spent my whole life in an effort to bring my body weight under control. I have used that particular class room to learn lots of good lessons. The Holy Spirit and I have made good use of this particular challenge. Here is an example of how this has worked for me. This is an excerpt from my book, “Hey, Holy Spirit, It’s Me Again.” This book is a journal of my study of the Workbook including the messages I receive from Spirit as I meditate on the lesson. This particular one is specifically about my confusion around the body and specifically, dieting.

Why Do Some People Get Sick and Others Don’t

Lately I have wondered why some people get sick and others seem to live their lives free of disease. I noticed that it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with how spiritual they are or how nice they are or how good they are. It just seems to have no rhyme or reason. When I think that in order to heal my afflictions I must pray, reflect and change my thoughts, I get a little upset and ask myself, “Why do I have to be good when there are people who are really bad and they don’t seem to have any problems?”

Physical Miracles in Action

Part 1 — While all miracles are born from healing the ‘cause,’ which is our perception, they can extend to the level of ‘effect’ (form) as well. They can do so because both cause (mind) and effect (body and the world) remain together in our mind and cannot be separate. They can certainly appear to be separate, but only in our fear-based perception. Usually, though, we will not witness a miracle at the form level if we are still afraid of it.

Announcing a New Pathways Support Group — Spiritual Support in Working with Holy Spirit

Feeling Gateful Before Thanksgiving

I am grateful to A Course in Miracles, certainly. I am grateful that it taught me about the power of gratitude. It seems to me that gratitude comes so much more naturally to me than it used to. I most certainly give credit to the process of turning to Holy Spirit for guidance — a practice that has developed in me from participating in Pathways of Light courses, attending ACIM study groups, and spending time quietly with the intention of connecting with my Creator.
