What is the Word? The Word is Love.
What is your purpose? Your purpose is to let go of all that is unlike Love. This is simple, yet to you it seems impossible.
This is because you have identified with an idea and image that is not you. A thought that you made became the premise for a belief in what is unreal.
Still, this is not a sin—merely a mistaken thought. When you do not want the thought you made, when you are willing to give it up, then are you freed from dreams and illusions.
You will joyously accept that you did not make your self.
You have heard before, that you are an extension of Love and your only function is to extend love. You could repeat this over and over, but to know the truth of it,
you benefit from experiencing it. Be willing and practice. Take one minute for each hour and practice extending love. Any subject that comes to mind is appropriate.
Remember that the love you send comes not from you alone—but from an inexhaustible Source. The “supply” of love multiplies any time it is shared, it is limitless.
You are a Child of God, and that will never change. (Hear me well) You will not be happy while you believe you are something other than what God created.
Pretending to be something other than Love is not what you truly want. Often today, step back and rest in God.

Today this is what I received from Holy Spirit.
Spirit: The word of God in written in your Heart. Therefore, all your answers are there, waiting for acceptance.
Practice non judgment—this is the way to acceptance. Be willing to watch the mind and without judging, watch the judgmental thoughts.
Each thought represents your belief; each thought is a choice. The choice to follow Love or the choice to do it on your own.
The fantasy of doing on your own has no true effect on your reality. It does not touch Who you are or where you are. But your belief in the fantasy makes it real for you.
This does not bring happiness to you. You will be happy when you let go of the thoughts that hold the fantasy together.
As you let go of judging, you release the values you have made on everything in the fantasy. You learn that happiness is always Now.

It seems that this past year or more, has been such a challenge to me. This has been my own choice, as I choose to hear the ego or Holy Spirit. It seemed that I was choosing to hear the wrong voice more often than not.
When I listen to the ego, I find comparisons abound, making judgments seem natural, making worries seem real. Any time that I wish that circumstances were different, that is a judgment about the way my experience is happening. It is the child throwing the tantrum, screaming: “I want it thus!” Following the ego, I do not have peace, joy or love. I have more conflict, more wishes, more feelings of being inadequate and failure.
Somehow I felt powerless to stop the bombardment of ego thoughts. It seemed as if I would never get out of the grip of the self pity that entrapped me. Today I read a message from Holy Spirit to a dear friend of mine, that shown the light into my clouded mind. The simple premise is that I can choose to worry and judge my way through life, or I can choose to trust in Spirit, that each circumstance is perfect for my learning the lessons that I came here to learn or unlearn.
When I think mistakenly that I am alone and have to decide on my own, then things look bleak indeed. I have mistakenly chosen an illusion to be real, making the dream seem real.
I have forgotten Who I am. When I mistakenly follow the ego, I am wanting to be “right” and not choosing to be happy. I am believing that “I” know what is best for me in any given moment. I need to remind my self that I do not know what is in my best interests, but I have an internal Guide that is always with me, Who does know. When I choose to step back from the turmoil and conflict and fear in my mind, and ask help from Holy Spirit, I am willing to let go of the dream I have made. I am willing to accept that being mistaken does not make me guilty.
As I remember to choose for Holy Spirit’s perception of my life, I will find the peace, the joy, the love that surrounds me constantly. As I trust in His decisions for me, I am sure of the peace that I share with all. I am willing to give up the judging, comparing, and worries. With Holy Spirit as my mentor I live the life that I share with God.
This quote from the Manual for Teacher’s came to mind: M-26.4. Do not despair, then, because of limitations. It is your function to escape from them, but not to be without them.
To me this message means that the lessons I have made, can be worldly limitations, or they can be blessings when I see with Holy Spirit. All that I give to Holy Spirit will be healed.

This morning I see that when I tell myself that I’m not awake, that is only another form of condemnation. I am making myself ‘wrong’ (guilty) for the choice I make to dream. In my perception, the Course intended to instruct me how to be aware of the choice I make. It was not to make me more guilty by the dream I choose to play in.
The ego loves to show me how bad and therefore, guilty I am. So the “spiritual” ego dictates that by dreaming I am guilty. If I follow its teaching, I will be forever condemned—and forever in its maze of deception. The Course also teaches that I am innocent, and that what God has created never changes. I am still a Thought in the Mind that is my Source.
Being in and part of the Mind that is All That Is, I have not made myself, I have not left my Source, I have not stolen my self from God. I have no criminal record for running away from God. Ideas like these come from a split mind, caught up in its story and its illusions. I may dream a dream of separation, betrayal and punishment but there is no guilt in doing this.
I can play in the dream as long as I choose to—without condemnation. God’s Son is only as God created him. There is no condemnation in God and so there is none in me.
As I learn (remember) I am the dreamer of the dream, I let go of the guilt. All the ways that guilt shows up in my dream is simply there so I can choose again, and let go of some false belief (which is only unreal). I am free to dream—and free to choose again. Every form of discomfort I make in my dream is another clue to reveal to me a false idea.
If I choose to reject looking at that idea, pushing it away, it will always pop up anther time to be released. If I choose to look at the idea, I do not have to do this alone!
My Holy Spirit is with me (and with everyone) to guide me and assist me in releasing what is fearful and crippling.
In His perfect knowing He holds the truth and knows my innocence. He knows my dreaming is not eternal. He is infinitely patient with my choice to dream.
What appears as real will softly melt away as I accept my sinlessness. The ego would make me guilty for not awaking, but I am forever free in choosing—
the Son of God is free. If I choose to dream, I am still free, I am still innocent. I am not punished for remaining asleep in a dream.

I was reminded today, that peace is all I want.
If I venture into perceptions, thoughts or actions that seem to remove peace from me,
then that is not what I truly want. I want to wake from my dream.
With peace I can remember what the truth is. With peace I can drop
the illusions, and my projections. In peace I let go of the past.
With peace I forgive the dream I have made; the self that I think I made.
Peace is all I want.
