The Outcome of Forgiveness

The outcome of the lesson that God’s Son is guiltless is a world in which there is no fear, and everything is lit with hope and sparkles with a gentle friendliness. Nothing but calls to you in soft appeal to be your friend, and let it join with you. And never does a call remain unheard, misunderstood, nor left unanswered in the selfsame tongue in which the call was made. And you will understand it was this call [for Love] that everyone and everything within the world has always made, but you had not perceived it as it was. And now you see you were mistaken. You had been deceived by forms the call was hidden in. And so you did not hear it, and had lost a friend who always wanted to be part of you. The soft eternal calling of each part of God’s creation to the whole is heard throughout the world this [lesson of forgiveness] brings. (A Course in Miracles, T-31.I.8. See also ACIM Text Q & A.)

As we continue to practice seeing past appearances to the Love that is really there, we are able to see all forms of lack of Love as merely a call for Love. We are all calling for Love. We are all calling to return to the truth of Love’s oneness. Our Father answers through the Holy Spirit in our minds.

As we receive the miracle of forgiveness through the Holy Spirit, we are able to see beyond appearances to the call for Love. We are able to extend Love in all circumstances instead of falling back into making appearances seem real. As we give Love instead of judgment with the Holy Spirit’s help, we experience Love. This is the outcome forgiveness brings.

In Gratitude I Heal

I let gratitude lead me Home…

I now appreciate, accept and give thanks
for all that I have inherited as a Child of God.

In gratitude I follow the kind and gentle
guidance of my inner Teacher…

In gratitude I now extend Love and appreciation to all equally…

In gratitude I accept the Truth that All is One in the Mind of God…

I gratefully see and celebrate the wholeness,
innocence and perfection of my brother…
We are joined with our Father in Heaven.

Our Will Is One with God’s Will

Father, I thought I wandered from Your Will, defied it, broke its laws, and interposed a second will more powerful than Yours. Yet what I am in truth is but Your Will, extended and extending. This am I, and this will never change. As You are One, so am I one with You. And this I chose in my creation, where my will became forever one with Yours. That choice was made for all eternity. It cannot change, and be in opposition to itself. Father, my will is Yours. And I am safe, untroubled and serene, in endless joy, because it is Your Will that it be so.

Today we will accept our union with each other and our Source. We have no will apart from His, and all of us are one because His Will is shared by all of us. Through it we recognize that we are one. Through it we find our way at last to God. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.329. See also ACIM Lesson 329 Insights.)

Peace and conflict are opposites. In the oneness of Love, there can be nothing that conflicts with Love. Because only Love is real, the appearance of conflict must be illusion.

The world of form we experience seems to be filled with conflict. Therefore it must be unreal. It is a denial of our reality as extensions of Love. The Course reminds us that our true Self is Love and thus our true Will is to extend Love. As we accept our true Will, we accept the Love that seems to be hidden from us in the world of form.

Freedom from fear and guilt comes by accepting the Will of Love as our own. Judgments interfere with the Will of Love. Forgiveness releases the Will of Love. As we forgive, we welcome Love and the peace and joy it brings and automatically offer It freely to all that is. Accepting that our will is one with God’s Will is accepting God’s gifts of peace and joy and Love

Letting Holy Spirit Heal Our Perception

You perceive from your mind and project your perceptions outward. Although perception of any kind is unreal, you made it and the Holy Spirit can therefore use it well. He can inspire perception and lead it toward God.…

The Holy Spirit uses time, but does not believe in it. Coming from God He uses everything for good, but He does not believe in what is not true. Since the Holy Spirit is in your mind, your mind can also believe only what is true. The Holy Spirit can speak only for this, because He speaks for God.

The Holy Spirit extends by recognizing Himself in every mind, and thus perceives them as one. Nothing conflicts in this perception, because what the Holy Spirit perceives is all the same. Wherever He looks He sees Himself, and because He is united He offers the whole Kingdom always. (A Course in Miracles, T-6.II.9:5-7;10:1-4;12:3-5. See also ACIM Text Q & A.)

The Holy Spirit always inspires the perception of the oneness of Love everywhere. The appearance of anything else is disregarded as not real. This is the path to perfect peace because what is recognized as unreal will not disturb us.

The Holy Spirit’s perception is offered us in every moment. If we want the peace of God, we need only be willing to accept the Holy Spirit’s perception to experience peace. With the Holy Spirit’s help we can learn to see only Love and thus learn that we are only Love. The ego’s use of perception to separate is replaced by the Holy Spirit’s perception of unity.

Today we ask the Holy Spirit to guide our vision that we may see all things as He sees them. With His vision of innocence, we will learn of our own innocence. Our perception will be healed.

Our Resurrection Comes as We Hold and Share God’s Peace

I place the peace of God in your heart and in your hands, to hold and share. The heart is pure to hold it, and the hands are strong to give it. We cannot lose. My judgment is as strong as the wisdom of God, in Whose Heart and Hands we have our being. His quiet children are His blessed Sons. The Thoughts of God are with you. This day, dedicated to resurrection, is a reminder that in every moment we can choose our resurrection. We can choose Life over death, our oneness in Love over the ego thought system of separation from Love.

Each time we are willing to turn over our thoughts of fear and guilt, we choose our resurrection. Each time we let the Holy Spirit show us our brother’s innocence, we share God’s peace and hold it for ourselves.

In the oneness of Love, giving and receiving are the same. When we give Love, we show ourselves that we are Love. When we share peace, we strengthen our awareness of the peace within us.

We dedicate this day to our resurrection by offering the peace and Love of God to every brother. And we are blessed indeed.

We See Through the Eyes of the Ego or the Vision of Christ

Would you remember the Father? Accept His Son and you will remember Him.

Every brother you meet becomes a witness for Christ or for the ego, depending on what you perceive in him. Everyone convinces you of what you want to perceive, and of the reality of the kingdom you have chosen for your vigilance. Everything you perceive is a witness to the thought system you want to be true. (A Course in Miracles, T-11.V.17:1-2;18:1-3). See also ACIM Text Q & A.

Father, we have had enough of seeing through the ego’s eyes. It has not made us happy. We choose once again to see through Christ’s vision. Our practice for today is to consistently step back from our past way of seeing and open to the way You see every brother. You love them eternally and see them as You created them.

We choose to see as You see and ask Your help to see past the misperceptions of separation to the truth of Love’s oneness. Father we give thanks for Your constant care and know that, as we follow Your guidance instead of the ego’s, we will find eternal happiness.

Remembering Love’s Gentleness

God’s memory is in our holy minds, which know their oneness and their unity with their Creator. Let our function be only to let this memory return, only to let God’s Will be done on earth, only to be restored to sanity, and to be but as God created us. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.11.4:4-5. Let us be gentle and kind to ourselves today… Let us be patient with our process of returning to the Love we are… Let us remember Love’s eternal presence… Let us step back and see through the eyes of Love today… All this comes to us as we are willing to join with Love in everything we say and do… All this comes as we remember Love’s gentleness.
