Walking with Graceful Intention

The Spiritual Law of Intention dictates that Universal energies support a person’s intention, as it is the basis of manifestation in the physical. Within this law, it is best to invoke the sacred intention to set the stage at the beginning of new activity. The intensity of this intention to grow, become one with; it is what leads to the attunement of vibration with Spirit:

Heaven or Hell, What’s Your Choice?

The body is nothing but a mistaken thought. A Course in Miracles says that it was a tiny mad idea that put us in hell, a dream world of separation from God, from Love. The problem is that when that thought came into our consciousness, we forgot to laugh at how insane this idea really was. In fact, we were tempted by this voice (thought) to make up a whole world, where the body was made to hide from God, who we believed would punish us for separating from Him. And so, fear of God replaced the memory of a loving Father who created us in innocence and perfection.

Healing Through Spirituality

Only God’s Plan for Salvation Will Work

Reading the title, doesn’t it make you curious what this plan could be?

The lesson offers three questions to use in order to find out. This morning I had the golden opportunity to do just that. My former husband and I were having breakfast together, talking about a planned camping trip. Soon we were getting entangled in our opposite ways of doing things. I noticed the energy and asked that we sit down and just breathe for ten minutes, which we did.

I asked the first question:

1. What would You have Us do? (Meaning my Higher Self and Me as One US.)

Safe in God While I Heal

For the past two weeks I have struggled with what started out as a virus and then soon became a lung infection. I have had asthma for many years along with several other health conditions I have been concerned about. One night I became so distressed over not being able to get any air I considered calling 911.

My husband works away and commutes so I am alone part of the time. I cried out to Holy Spirit, “What do I need to learn from this? Where do I need to heal my mind?”

Don’t Complain — Reclaim

Isn’t it ironic that, in an instant of time, a thought came into our mind to make a world separate from our Creator; a world where we wanted a separate identity; a world where we could feel special. Now doesn’t that sound like a teenager in rebellion against his parents?

And guess what, we got what we asked for, but did we really?

We made a body where we can hide from our Creator and then all we do is complain about the body we made: It’s too short. It’s too tall. It’s too skinny. It’s too fat. It’s too frail. It’s in too much pain… complain, complain. So here we are, complaining about what we made.

True Healing Is a Change of Mind

This quote is particularly interesting to me because I notice how one moment I can be in the throws of judgment and the next I can be laughing and full of joy or vice versa and nothing has changed except my perception!

Love Never Gets Empty

Recently my daughter-in-law’s mother passed away. For her six year old granddaughter, I thought it would be very confusing. Her illness lasted about four weeks before her death. Quite a short time for the adults in the family to come to grips with her loss.

At her mother’s birthday party a couple of weeks later, Ellie (granddaughter) went around to all the adults with a heart shaped can her Grandma Barb had given her. She asked me if I wanted to see inside. I said, “Sure.” The can appeared to be empty. Ellie said, “Can you feel her and see her in Spirit? Her love fills this can.”
