Let Peace Be Our Guide Today

Our practice for today is to be mindful of our level of peace… Our practice is to open to peace and follow its gentle, healing lead to a greater awareness… As we follow the lead of peace, we are shown Christ’s vision, where we are able to see past the limiting thoughts of separation to the truth of Love’s presence…

We remember our job is to follow, not lead. We remember that our meaningless thoughts are showing us a meaningless world. We remember that beyond the images of this world lies our true Reality, our true Life, the Life we live in God. All this comes easily and naturally as we let peace lead the way. And we are grateful that this is so.

Our Prayer to Holy Spirit

Say to the Holy Spirit only, “Decide for me,” and it is done. For His decisions are reflections of what God knows about you, and in this light, error of any kind becomes impossible. Why would you struggle so frantically to anticipate all you cannot know, when all knowledge lies behind every decision the Holy Spirit makes for you? Learn of His wisdom and His Love, and teach His answer to everyone who struggles in the dark. For you decide for them and for yourself.

Trust Him to answer quickly, surely, and with Love for everyone who will be touched in any way by the decision. And everyone will be.” (A Course in Miracles, T-14.III.16,17:5-6)

This is our prayer for today: Holy Spirit, only thy will be done in and through us. We gladly give up making any decision on our own. Help us to see all things as you see them, to see past our false ideas to the truth of Love. Help us be Love’s expression all through the day.

Right Now, We Open to Holy Spirit’s Inspiration

Inspiration comes in the now moment, not in the past or the future.

Our practice for today is to keep our minds open and receptive to Holy Spirit’s inspiration all through the day… We listen and receive all through the day… We call on the Holy Spirit’s Name all through the day… We choose peace all through the day… We are willing to receive Holy Spirit’s happiness all through the day… We let today be a continuous practice of allowing Holy Spirit to lead us every minute… every hour… We keep our receptors open and follow as we are led.

Remember You Rest in God

Remember that right now, and always, you rest in God… Even though you may be involved in many of the activities of the world, the truth about you is that you rest in God… Remember you are in the Mind of God eternally and this cannot be changed… Let yourself remember the truth about what you are and where you are eternally…

This remembering throughout the day helps smooth your way. It helps you remember you are dreaming a dream while safe in Heaven. It helps you remember not to take the world so seriously. You can row your boat gently down the stream today, remembering it is just a dream. You can accept the happiness that is yours eternally and extend it to everyone around you.

Following the Gentle Flow of Peace

As you open to peace, it gently guides all your doing. Peace gently guides all your service to the awakening. Peace brings with it inspiration in how to be truly helpful. Peace brings with it inspiration in how to let go of your belief in the dream.

Let yourself be filled with Holy Spirit’s peace today, and let the peace extend to everyone and everything in the world. Peace paves the path to awakening.

Joy Comes with Seeing the Truth

Joy comes with seeing the truth of Love in our brother. We cannot see this with the body’s eyes. But we can see the Love that is everywhere when we let the Holy Spirit guide our seeing. His Vision shows only truth. It shows only Love. And joy is an attribute of Love.

We can have a happy day today by choosing to accept Holy Spirit’s help in seeing past separate images to the unity of Love everywhere. We welcome this help with the practice of maintaining a peaceful state of mind.

As we hold this peace in all our doing, we become a tranquil base upon which the true perception of Love everywhere is built. As we let this vision from the Holy Spirit through, we become a beacon of Love’s Light that shines away false images to the truth of Love. Our doing becomes an expression of Love, for it is following Holy Spirit’s purpose to unify instead of the ego’s purpose to divide.

Today we glorify Love by giving it top priority in our minds and we will have a happy day indeed.

Holy Spirit, We Open to Your Peace

Our practice for today is to consistently step back and give the time to open to receive Holy Spirit’s peace… As we practice this consistently, we strengthen the habit of not doing things on our own. It gets easier as we let Holy Spirit guide our doing. Inspiration flows easily, without effort.

Today, Holy Spirit, we open to your peace and continuous flow of inspiration.
