God Is Always in Our Mind

Today we are willing to remember that God is in our mind… Today we are willing to remember that peace resides in the deeper levels of our mind… Along with peace, reside joy and happiness… Today we are willing to go to this holy place in our mind and receive the blessings therein… Today we rejoice in the fact that we carry these wonderful blessings with us wherever we go and always have the opportunity to extend them to the world…

Because God is always in our mind, God goes with us wherever we go. God’s Thoughts are always there to heal the false ideas that come up for healing. We can remember that we are always blessed and our opportunity is always to extend the blessing to everyone, because we are one.

Accepting God’s Gift of Happiness

Happiness and fulfillment walk hand in hand. Happiness comes when we fulfill our life purpose, given us by God. God’s Will for us is perfect happiness. Our life will be filled with joy when we accept God’s Will as ours.

To this the ego clamors nervously, “Don’t go there. You’ll have to sacrifice everything.” In truth accepting God’s Will as ours comes with letting go of the nothingness of ego’s values, which makes way to receive God’s gift of everything. The idea of sacrifice is the foundation of the ego. To make an identity we call our own, we have to “sacrifice” our unity with Love. With this sacrifice, lasting happiness is impossible. We can only make temporary circumstances with seemingly pleasing images. But because they are illusions, they never last and we must continue to search for happiness and fulfillment where it cannot be found — in the dream of illusions. At some point we all come to the realization that there must be a better way.

Today we will step back from our self-made goals in a self-made dream. We would listen to the Voice that speaks for the Truth in us and let It guide us in the way of lasting happiness. We would accept the Will of God as our own, remembering that it is the will to be perfectly happy, to love and be loved, to rest in the sure and quiet Presence of our Source. Today we would step back and let Him lead the way.

We Choose Peace

Today we choose to be aware of our level of peace… Peace of mind is not a little gift. Today we practice accepting the Holy Spirit’s gift of peace…

The Holy Spirit is constantly in our mind, waiting to give us the gift of peace every moment. We accept Holy Spirit’s peace now and extend it to everyone we meet or even think of. We let peace carry us to deeper levels of insight and understanding. In peace, we recognize we are united as one Mind. We happily follow the lead of peace today, and we give thanks.

Let Love Decide

Only love is just, and can perceive what justice must accord the Son of God. Let love decide, and never fear that you, in your unfairness, will deprive yourself of what God’s justice has allotted you. (A Course in Miracles, T-25.VIII.14:6-7)

Our practice today is to let Love decide in everything we think, say or do. On our own, from the perspective of being a separate identity, we do not know what Love is and have no basis for a loving decision. But the Holy Spirit in our minds is our Link with the Love of God. His function is to remind us of His Love and help us to see Love everywhere, for so It is.

To let Love decide means that we need to step back from all our judgments and let the Holy Spirit decide for us. With this practice, we will see Love reflected and be Love’s reflection in the world.

Today we will let Love decide.

We Walk With God

We dedicate today to the practice of remembering that we walk with God in every now moment. His Love surrounds us, protects us and brings us peace and happiness. As we remember this, it becomes our experience.

We walk with God means we walk in happiness, perfect peace and filled with His Love. His thoughts of Love are in our minds and inspire us to extend the Love through our thoughts, words and deeds. As we remember we walk with God, we recognize our brothers as one with us. The Love we are joins with the Love in our brothers. With this practice, it will be a blessed day indeed.

What Am I?

I am God’s Son, complete and healed and whole, shining in the reflection of His Love. In me is His creation sanctified and guaranteed eternal life. In me is love perfected, fear impossible, and joy established without opposite. I am the holy home of God Himself. I am the Heaven where His Love resides. I am His holy Sinlessness Itself, for in my purity abides His Own. (A Course in Miracles, W-pII.14.1)

Today we would practice letting the memory of our true Identity return to our minds. Today we would step back and listen to the Voice for God. Today we give thanks that we are given all we need to return to our true Identity in God.

Seek First the Kingdom of Heaven

Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven, because that is where the laws of God operate truly, and they can operate only truly because they are the laws of truth. But seek this only, because you can find nothing else. There is nothing else. God is All in all in a very literal sense. All being is in Him Who is all Being. You are therefore in Him since your being is His. (A Course in Miracles, T-7.IV.7:1-6.)

What we seek for we will find. What we focus on captures all of our attention. When we make it a priority to focus on seeing only the truth, that is what shows up in our awareness.

The Christ mind in everyone is the truth about them as it is the truth about ourselves. Allowing ourselves to be aware of the Light in every brother dissolves fear, because here we see there are no differences. We are all the same. We are all the same Light of God. Remembering this brings us joy and peace and eternal happiness. All of this comes as we are willing to “seek first the Kingdom of Heaven.” This is our practice for today.
