Step Back, Listen and Follow

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Make no decisions on your own. You have been told this often. It bears repeating because it is the key to awakening. When you believe you are on your own, you make decisions with the ego because you believe in the ego. When you choose instead to make decisions with the Holy Spirit, you are choosing to let truth be your guide. You are choosing to disregard illusions and to value truth instead.

When it appears that you have a decision to make in the world, step back. Settle into peace and open your heart and mind to the voice of your true Self. Your true Self will make clear to you what is meaningful and what is meaningless. It will show you what serves awakening and what diverts you onto meaningless journeys. All you need do is step back, listen and follow. Practice this today.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Practice letting yourself be carried today. Practice remembering you know nothing on your own. Practice thinking of your life as a movie that you are experiencing today. Watch the movie holding Holy Spirit’s Hand. Let the Holy Spirit show you the truth behind the movie, behind the illusions of separate forms.

Let the Holy Spirit lift the veil and show you the Light in everyone you see today. As you see the Light in everyone, you are seeing the truth. O happy day!

Walk in Love and Extend Peace

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Remember, every moment is an opportunity to join in Love. It does not matter what appears to be happening around you. Whether there is the appearance of lovelessness or Love, the only response called for is to extend Love. Nothing else matters. As you recognize this, you walk in peace. Nothing can disturb your quiet mind. You live in joy because there is no greater happiness than remembering you are one with your brother and your Source.

Walk in Love today by opening your heart and mind to Love’s extension through you to all. Thus will you bless and be blessed.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Remember you are blessed. In this place of remembering your blessings, you see that everyone is blessed. Because you carry the awareness that you are blessed, you only want to extend blessing. Extend the blessing by blessing everyone.

There is great joy in this remembering. You remember that in truth you have it all. You have all that is important. And because you have it all, you share it all. In this state of mind, there is no sense of loss. There is only the awareness of the abundance of God’s Love. Peace is yours and you would keep your peace by extending peace.

Gratitude

From Robert and Mary:
On this day dedicated to giving thanks, let us join together in giving thanks that we are still pure Love, as God created us. Together we are the one Spirit of Love. We are the Love that is everywhere. We are thankful that only this is true.

The ego could be called the epitome of ingratitude. It is the refusal to accept God’s gift of eternal Love and perfect peace. We are grateful to now have the means to recognize the ego’s empty substitutes for what they are. We are grateful that despite our denial of God, God has not denied us. His Love remains undisturbed and so it is still ours to claim simply by accepting It. Thank you God. We love you God.

Your Pathway to Freedom

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Look lovingly on your brother for he represents your Self. When you see him through the eyes of Love, you join with your Self and remember Who you are. Your brother is not the image of a body. Your brother is not the body’s behavior nor the words the body seems to speak.

Learn to not interpret any appearance on your own. Let the Holy Spirit, Who represents your Self, interpret on your behalf. He will show you the truth that lies beyond the appearances of form. He will show you the changeless Love that is your brother and your Self.

Let this day be a day of making no interpretations on your own. Be vigilant for the lack of peace that is a symptom that you are attempting to interpret by yourself. Then return your mind to the Holy Spirit’s interpretation. This is how you will find peace. This is how you will return to the memory of your Home.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Let today be a day of practicing letting the Holy Spirit raise you above the battleground. As you allow the Holy Spirit to be in charge of your mind, you are brought to an awareness that only Love is real. You are brought to an awareness of your barriers to Love, and together with Holy Spirit they are forgiven. This forgiving process makes way for a different kind of vision. You are brought to Christ’s Vision, which sees past specialness to the oneness that is always really there.

Let today be a day of practice. Let the Holy Spirit be in charge of your seeing. Let yourself be vigilant today to see as the Holy Spirit sees. It is worth the effort. It is your pathway to freedom. Herein lies your peace and eternal happiness.

God’s Ocean of Love

Robert:
When I become aware of someone who is determined to hang on to their judgments, it’s not my job to help them get over it. If I think it is, it’s my job to get over thinking I need to fix them. It’s the same error.

Judgment brings with it the thought of harm. Not only does it perceive harm but it also includes the thought that harm in return is an appropriate defense. All this is based on the false idea that the Son of God is a body, vulnerable to harm. So the urge to fix is a sign that I need a perception adjustment — I need mind healing.

The appearance of some other person judging is simply a reflection of my own need to forgive. That is the only meaningful purpose of time in this world. So the helpful response to this perception is to offer it to the Holy Spirit, to ask for His help in letting it go and to be grateful that the Holy Spirit is there to help me. Thank you God. I love you God.

Mary:
As I go to Spirit this morning I simply get the words, relax, relax, relax. I am being brought into a process of letting go which includes letting go of all tension in the body, including the little muscles around the eyes, the muscles in the jaw, shoulders and hands.

Now the idea of accepting peace is there very gently in the background. I realize I am being invited to accept the pure peace of God that goes beyond the understanding found in the world. There is profound quietness here. I take in the quietness and rest a while. I let everything melt away.

The idea that I, which includes everyone, am in God’s ocean of Love is there in my mind. This ocean of Love holds everyone safe, no matter what they are dreaming. This idea of safety is very strong. It’s a knowing that is not in words. It is just felt. I soak in this feeling of safety and I receive the guidance to carry this feeling with me all through the day. Everyone is immersed in God’s ocean of peace and Love. Everyone is safe, no matter what dreams may come.

Purification

Holy Spirit to Robert:
You dedicate each day to following My lead. This willingness is essential to your awakening. But there are unconscious conflicting wishes that cause you to bring the past with you and use it to interpret the present. This causes conflict and uncertainty. This is why a moment to moment dedication to letting go of the past, to forgiving, is an essential practice that opens your mind to My guidance.

I am guiding you in every moment. But when your attention is on the past and you are using it to interpret the present, you are unaware of My guidance. The ongoing willingness to offer all your thoughts to Me for My interpretation and for My release from the past will bring you peace.

Robert: Today I dedicate to offering all my thoughts to the Holy Spirit for His purification. Holy Spirit’s Light shines away the false and returns to me the truth of my perfect safety, perfect peace and perfect Love. Thank you Holy Spirit.

Mary:
I dedicate this day to be open to receive God’s peace and extend God’s peace. Another way to say this is today is dedicated to letting go and letting God. Letting go requires my willingness not to try to do anything on my own, but to relax and soften and open to receive the Holy Spirit’s gift of peace.

Peace melts away all fear and helps me remember that this world is an illusion. I remember that forgiveness is letting go of belief in the dream. Everyone is safe in the Mind of God. Everyone is still as God created them. I rest in this remembering today.

I Choose the Light

Robert:
The world is a scary place. Its chaotic and unreliable. Everything is constantly changing. My old habit has been to try to find a circumstance, a situation, a relationship that will give me some sense of safety and protection from this scary world. Hidden behind this searching are beliefs that if I only had a certain amount of money in reserve, if someone would only behave in a certain way, if things would work the way I want them to work, then I would be safe. I’ve tried this approach for 65 years and it has never really worked. Its time to give that up and open my mind to a better way.

There is a place of changelessness and certainty, of safety and of peace. There is a place of joy that can never be disturbed or interrupted. In truth I am in this place now and have never left It. But in dreaming of separation, I have turned my back on It, imagining that I have left it behind and so I seem to be in a world of fear.

To return to full awareness that I am in the Home I have never really left, I need to let go of the vain imaginings that hide the truth from me. That is all. I am grateful that there is a Guide in my mind to help me recognize the fearful imaginings for what they are and help me let them go. This is what I want to and must seek today. This is where I will find the safety, the peace and the happiness that cannot be found in the images of the world.

Holy Spirit, I rest in You today, certain of Your Love and Your gentle guidance, certain of Your strength and grateful for the Light You shine upon the way that leads me Home. I choose the Light today for I would remember that It is my Home.

Mary:
My mantra for today is “let go and let God.” When I say these words, I am reminded to soften and breathe deeply. I am reminded to let go of what I think is “going on.” This helps me loosen my grip on what I am seeing through the body’s eyes and remember that everything I see through the body’s eyes is but a dream. I am reminded that my inner Teacher is in my mind, waiting to bring me the awareness that I am still as God created me and that nothing has really changed God’s one Son. We all are Love’s extension and nothing else. The feeling of God’s peace gets stronger as I let the veil be lifted.

“Let go and let God” is a very helpful tool for me today to bring me back to the truth when I forget. It brings my mind to a place of inner quiet and rest. I thank the Holy Spirit, my constant Companion, for Its infinite patience with me as I go back and forth between forgetting and remembering. The Holy Spirit is always there to return my mind to the truth, as I am willing to remember.

I love this place of inner calm and quiet. I am grateful for the deep inner peace it brings. I remember that we are all safe in the mind of God and have never left. I remember that there is no world outside my mind. There is no world outside the one Mind of God and I am thankful that this is so. From this place of inner quiet, I may see the stories of traumas and dramas, but I can carry the remembering that they really do not matter and that they will fall gently away as I forgive or let them go through Holy Spirit’s guidance. Thank you Holy Spirit.
