Accept the Light of Truth

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Let go and let God… This means letting go of efforting, and instead being open to receiving from Holy Spirit what is already there for you.

Accept the peace that comes with acknowledging that God is in you… Focus on accepting the Light of truth and letting the Light dispel the darkness… Let yourself rest in the awareness of God’s Light today… This is your practice today.

Holy Spirit to Robert:
You are never alone. But the feeling of uncertainty is the sure sign that you believe you are alone. It is this belief that must be undone. When you feel uncertain, vulnerable, anxious or unsettled in any way, let this be a reminder to bring this thought to the Certainty in your mind, your true Self.

Let your true Self show you the certainty beyond the images of change. Let your true Self show you the safety of changelessness beyond the images of vulnerability and weakness. Let your true Self show you the joy that lies beyond the images of sadness and loss. This practice brings the Light of Love to shine away the darkness of belief in separation. Today practice letting your true Self interpret all things.

Seeing Holiness Everywhere

Robert:
Love is the way I walk in gratitude. Doubts about what, when and how to do in the world may come and go, but Love is constant. It is ever present, eternally extending. It is there to be experienced now. I don’t need to wait for it or plan for it. I simply need to be willing to accept it now.

When I do open my heart and accept, Love overflows and opens my vision to the Love that is everywhere. All the doubts fade and the certainty of constant Love brings comfort and joy. There is a smile in my heart as I look upon my dear brother, my friend who is one with me. I recognize my brother in the store clerk and in the man I see on television being arrested for some act of fear. Love sees no difference, for Love sees all things as Itself. As I accept this in my heart, I walk in gratitude.

Mary:
This morning we read A Course in Miracles Text, chapter 16, section II, “The Power of Holiness.” Here I was reminded to see the wholeness or holiness in everyone I meet or even think of today. What a powerful and empowering practice I have today — to see that holiness is everywhere.

“The recognition of the part as whole, and of the whole in every part is perfectly natural, for it is the way God thinks, and what is natural to Him is natural to you.” (T-16.II.3:3)

This is my practice today. This is how I find the truth. This is what brings me happiness and I give thanks.

I Want to See the Truth Today

Robert:
This is my prayer today: Holy Spirit, help me to see with Your vision today. Help me see the truth beyond the forms and images of the world I perceive. Help me to remember the Love that is my brother and my Self, for I would learn that only Love is real.

Mary:
Today it is my mission that I decide nothing on my own. Today is a day of stepping back and remembering that separation from God is not real. Today is a day of accepting God’s peace and extending God’s peace. This is what the day is for and I give thanks.

Remembering the Strength of God in Us

Robert:
What matters and what doesn’t matter? What’s my job and what is not my job? What is truly helpful? These are questions I cannot answer on my own. It is impossible from the perspective of being on my own to see the full range of effects of what I think and do. That is why it is not my job to judge or have an opinion about anything. My primary job in all things is to let Holy Spirit be my Guide, remembering that of myself alone, I know nothing.

Sometimes it seems difficult to feel that I am receiving clear direction from Holy Spirit. This happens because I have not fully let go of my own agenda, my own ideas about what a thing or circumstance means. Like everyone in this world, I carry unconscious attitudes and beliefs imbedded in the idea of separation that influence my perception and they interfere with my reception of Holy Spirit’s guidance. That is why it is essential that I continue the daily practice of letting go of the past, of stepping back and letting Holy Spirit be my Interpreter in every moment.

I am not perfect in this practice, but I do see, by the increasing peace and happiness I experience, that I am getting better at letting go and following. It teaches me that it is worth the effort. In moments where uncertainty seems bigger, the recognition of how far I have come is a motivator to practice still more. I have seen the results of making decisions on my own, and they are often not pretty. I have seen the results of making decisions with Holy Spirit, and they are often miraculous and bring happiness and peace to many. So today, like every day, is another opportunity to practice stepping back and letting Holy Spirit lead the way.

Mary:
This morning Holy Spirit led us to the A Course in Miracles Workbook lesson titled, “Heaven is the decision I must make.” At the moment I turned to it, I did not feel like I was in Heaven. I felt a sadness because it seemed that there was not enough money to cover the demands of the hour. I felt helpless and afraid that there would not be enough to cover all the bills that are coming up. I see now that this is the perfect lesson to bring me to a change of mind. Heaven is the decision I must make.

This decision lifts me above the battleground of the ego’s constant sad stories of fear and scarcity. This lesson brings me to a change of mind where I remember once again that I am in Heaven, dreaming of being on a distant shore where there are differences and conflicting ideas.

It is only the Holy Spirit in my mind That knows the answer to every perceived problem. It is only the Holy Spirit That can heal my mind as I allow healing to occur. Here I find that God is my strength and vision is His gift. Here I am reminded to place my trust in God and not the stories of the world. Here is another opportunity to choose peace and follow in the moment where the Holy Spirit leads me.

Today is a day of practice of returning again and again to my inner Teacher, where I am reminded once again of the truth that only Love is real, and that illusions of lack are nothing and nowhere. Thank you, Holy Spirit.

Join with Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Remember that everything you perceive in the world represents what you believe to be true. Do you perceive conflict and harm? Then you believe conflict and harm are possible. Do you perceive innocence and kindness? Then you believe that these are real. In each moment you choose between the thought system of separation and that of the oneness of Love.

Pay attention today to what you perceive and what belief it is reflecting back to you. Let the Holy Spirit in your mind teach you what is reflecting the truth of your oneness in Love and what is reflecting belief in what could never be true. This practice makes every moment a step toward awakening. Choose to interpret nothing on your own.

As you join with the Holy Spirit in every interpretation, you will see the world differently and your heart will be filled with the joy of your Self. Practice today.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Imagine yourself under Holy Spirit’s waterfall of peace… Practice accepting the peace by seeing yourself absorbing it in like a sponge… Let peace heal every apprehension, every worry, every concern… Let peace fill every corner of your mind…

Let yourself soak in Holy Spirit’s gift of peace a while… Just rest and listen, remembering that you know nothing… Let Holy Spirit’s peace melt away all tension… Practice surrendering to peace all through the day… Let your mind join with Holy Spirit’s… Let the Holy Spirit do the rest… and give thanks.

Walk Lightly and in Light

Holy Spirit to Robert:
The world is not your adversary. It simply reflects back to you what you believe. These reflections offer you a gift if you are willing to look at them with the Holy Spirit. He will help you see what the images represent and the lesson in true perception that will release you from self imposed limitations.

Every moment is a gift with which you can learn to look past appearances and recognize the Light of Love that shines eternally everywhere. Each moment is an opportunity to let your inner Teacher show you what is reality and what is not.

Walk lightly today and in the Light and you will recognize the face of Christ reflected back to you in every moment.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Your source of happiness does not lie outside you. Your source of happiness lies deep within your mind, ready to radiate out and extend into the world. The Light… the peace… the Love that you are is always within your mind, ready to be extended. You recognize this Light, this peace, this Love is what you are, then you extend it.

Love is always sharing of Itself. Remember that you are Love today by sharing It with the world. This is where your peace and happiness lie. Have a happy, peace-filled day.

The Choice for Freedom

Holy Spirit to Robert:
Remember your only meaningful purpose in the world: To wake up from the dream of separation. It is why all things offer lessons God would have you learn. Every activity, every experience, every thought has the potential to teach you what will help you let go of belief in separation.

Whether or not you learn this lesson depends on who you choose to be your guide. If you continue to let belief in separation guide you, you sink deeper into the experience of separation. But if you let the Thought of oneness be your Guide, you will learn to recognize that separation is impossible and has never really occurred. This lesson fully learned frees you from hallucinations and returns you to the sanity of wholeness, to your true Self.

When you choose to be vigilant against entertaining illusions in your mind and take illusions to the Holy Spirit to receive His lesson, you choose for freedom. You choose for wholeness. You choose for the certainty of What you are and Where you are. Be vigilant today and release yourself from self-imposed limits that have no power over you. Learn of your freedom today.

Holy Spirit to Mary:
Today choose freedom by stepping back and allowing the Holy Spirit to take you to the place in your mind where there is inner peace. This place of inner peace is always in your mind quietly waiting for your return.

You have a Teacher That will take you there if you are willing. Be willing today to be brought to freedom. Be willing today to be brought to your inner place of peace. In this holy place, you find the Light that is within you. You find the Light that is within everyone. Seek only this today to find your freedom from the imprisoning thoughts of the ego.
