We Welcome Mind Healing Today

We welcome Holy Spirit’s inspiration. We let our mind be washed with the healing blessings of peace. We let ourselves remember that in truth, all is well. We are eternally safe in the Mind of God. We are one with our Source and the power of God lies right there in our mind.

We accept our true Identity today and remember we share this Identity with every brother. All this is remembered as we practice welcoming mind healing today.

What Gifts Will I Offer Today?

To give and to receive are one in truth.
I will receive what I am giving now.

To everyone I offer quietness.
To everyone I offer peace of mind.
To everyone I offer gentleness.
(A Course in Miracles, W-pI.108.8:2-3,6-8)

We can have a day of peace and gentleness by giving peace and gentleness. Today we will practice giving quietness, peace and gentleness to anyone we think of or talk to or meet today. In every moment we have the opportunity to give Love and kindness in our thoughts and actions.

In this practice we are expressing attributes of our true Self as we were created. This practice reminds us of the Self we are. Even if there are some whom we find difficult to think of lovingly, this practice will help us loosen the barrier that interferes with our recognition of the Self we share.

Today can be a transformative day as we practice giving the gifts we share with God. Today we choose to give the gifts of our true Self in our thoughts, words and deeds.

We Can Accept Heaven Instead of Hell

Love created us like Itself. In truth we are the Love that God created us to be. Love is indivisible. So we are one with all Love, which means we are one with all happiness, joy and infinite, eternal peace. We are one with all of God’s attributes.

Because we are one, we are Heaven. Now is the time to choose to accept What we are in truth and let illusions of hell go. Now is the time to accept the truth that we are not separate from Heaven. We are not separate from God and every brother. We are not alone. Now is the time to accept the truth that we are one, universal Mind of Love, where all happiness is.

Accepting this truth about ourselves and every brother is our practice for today. We can accept Heaven now instead of hell as our one reality. We are ready to accept this truth. We joyfully let the barriers down so truth can return to our minds.

Deciding with God

Willingness to Practice

You are as God created you. Today honor your Self. Let graven images you made to be the Son of God instead of what he is be worshipped not today. Deep in your mind the holy Christ in you is waiting your acknowledgment as you. And you are lost and do not know yourself while He is unacknowledged and unknown.

If you are shaken, think of [the fact that you are still as God created you] again. These practice periods are planned to help you form the habit of applying what you learn each day to everything you do. Do not repeat the thought and lay it down. Its usefulness is limitless to you. And it is meant to serve you in all ways, all times and places, and whenever you need help of any kind. Try, then, to take it with you in the business of the day and make it holy, worthy of God’s Son, acceptable to God and to your Self. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.110.9:1-2,4-5;Review III.11)

The couple who won the ice dancing Olympic gold metal had practiced for that moment for 17 years. They had a single focus all those years.

If we would awaken to our true Self, we need to have that same dedication to this one goal above all else. It seems slow and difficult to let go of our limited way of thinking only because we distract ourselves with other goals that seem to have more value.

But just as the ice dancers practiced many hours every day, we need to have that same willingness and discipline to apply the healing inspiration of the Holy Spirit every moment of every day. With this willingness to practice, practice, practice, we will reach the heavenly “gold” — the remembrance that we are still as God created us. We will carry God’s Thought of Love with us through the business of every day. With our willingness to practice, we are healed and we extend healing to the world.

We Are Not On Our Own

Believing we are on our own is a barrier against accepting God’s Help. God has given us all of His Love. The Help He gives, the Holy Spirit, is His expression of Love extended into the dream world.

The practice of opening our minds and hearts to the Holy Spirit’s Presence is how we open to receiving God’s gift of Love. As we let the Holy Spirit guide our thoughts and actions, we are letting the Love of God be expressed through us into the dream world of separation. As we participate in this expression, we experience the ease and peace and joy of Love’s extension in us and through us.

We bless the world as we let God’s Love be extended through us with Holy Spirit’s guidance. Everything we do in the world, from the simple act of washing the dishes or emptying the trash to paying bills or doing our daily work, becomes an extension of God’s Love when we let Holy Spirit guide us in each moment. Today is another day to experience God’s blessing by practicing letting Holy Spirit lead the way.

You Are God’s Son

You are God’s Son. In immortality you live forever. Would you not return your mind to this? Then practice well the thought the Holy Spirit gives you for today. Your brothers stand released with you in it; the world is blessed along with you, God’s Son will weep no more, and Heaven offers thanks for the increase of joy your practice brings even to it. And God Himself extends His Love and happiness each time you say:

I am not a body. I am free. I hear the Voice that God has given me, and it is only this my mind obeys. (A Course in Miracles, W-pI.199:8)

Today is a day of recognizing how blessed we are as God’s Son. As God’s Son, we are Love, immersed in Love. We are peace and joy, totally one with all peace and joy. We have all of Heaven in our minds, because in truth we are Heaven. God has given all of Himself to the Sonship. Today we live in gratitude for all the blessings and happiness that are ours, only requiring our willingness to receive.
